Complete new branded digital appliance design with clean and minimal lines fitted for modern kitchens. Highlighting the integration of points of interaction, controls and door handle integration. This oven design resulted from research identifying to express "Seamless Connectivity" in the home.
As part of the Master-Designer Program with Samsung over 3 years, a holistic approach across 6 different industries under the strategic 2.0 and 3.0 company vision including Digital Cameras, Printers and AiO, Laptop & Mobile, Appliances, Washer & Dryers. Products were tied together through user interface, aesthetics and brand experience called “Easy Smart”.

Samsung Electronics PROJECT Range
PROJECT offers a completely new solution to an old design paradigma. This cantilevered oven door handle not only allows kitchen towels to slip on and off easier, it creates focus to a removable universal badge, which can live anywhere on kitchen counter or home. This oven design resulted from research identifying to express "Seamless Connectivity" and "Tailored Feedback" in the home.
Samsung Electronics SKIN Refrigerator
A complete redesign to encourage design paradigm shift, it features integral push/push handles to open doors with iconic overlapping design, backlit LED functions on freezer handle, water purification and cooling with external water access carafe and lower water dispensing.
Samsung Electronics Illumination Washer
This washer design resulted from research identifying the need for "Tailored Feedback" and "Seamless Connectivity" in the home. The UI/UX design is intuitive by giving the user options to wash quickly with preset or simplified options, but also allows to go deeper into the settings, layer after layer. The analogy was similar to "zooming in or zooming out". The universal button provides tactical feedback and positioning within the different UI layers.
Samsung Electronics Front Load Washer/Dryer
This Premium Front Load Washer/Dryer design solves the visual need to tie washers and dryers together to create a strong identity in stores as they are paired together in homes. After identifying that washers are preferred on the left and dryer on the right side, this supports the sequential flow people are accustomed with. The "seamless integration" of UI control area with main housing and large 6.5" TFT-LCD screen.

This washer design features the most minimal UI, only revealing options necessary to select.
Samsung Electronics ILLUMINATION Refrigerator
Backlit LED icons on refrigerator and freezer handles, visually bringing status and features to view to the outside. Icons are not lit and only appear with close proximity and contact and fade away after use.
Floorstanding AC unit
Developed with Chinese manufacturer Haier's in-house design and final design executed by Haier's engineering team, this appliance promises consumers a simpler, more efficient smart appliance experience. This smart air conditioner, announced at CES 2014, is the first connected appliance to meet Apple's MFi standards to remotely connect with Apple devices and will bear Apple's "Made for iPhone/iPod/iPad" seal of approval.
Locomotion Device
Omni-directional treadmill using the Oculus Rift Headset to enable a true virtual reality experience beyond 3D gaming. The Omni for consumers consists of a low friction platform with radial grooves, custom shoes with low friction sole and plunger pin that fits onto platform grooves, stabilizing the foot and allowing for a steady natural gait.
Virtuix Omni - Locomotion Device
The waist support provides safety and subtle support for hands-free operation. Microsoft Kinect registers the user's movement and translates and steers the avatar in the virtual environment.

A scaleable, modular system of parcel drop boxes ranging from basic, to drive-by, to fully integrated weight scale and shipping solutions with signage. In collaboration with Landor for Federal Express.
Beverage Dispensing System
A modern redesign of Pepsi's dispensing system, highlighting user sequence, ice options, single and dual valve designs. The branded front uses Pepsi's "wave" and integrates the colorful logo in a sophisticated, subtle way by using frosted materials and forming into the stainless steel sides.
New Food Storage Solutions
Holistic approach focused on improving food storage freshness and increased shelf life through location and different temperature zones. Accessibility, versatility, lighting and optimization of available spaces. Solution embodied a clean and hygienic appearance were food is well lit and easier to locate.
