Vessel Kitchen wins IDA Product Design of the Year and IDA Gold
Originally designed by STUDIO BACKS in 2006, revised in 2012, and further improved and finalized in 2014, this unique kitchen concept captures the spirit of an urban, modern lifestyle for global architects, planners, and design-minded individuals who appreciate simplicity and an iconic look. This kitchen has been carefully dialed-in and perfected over many years.
Vessel Kitchen WALL UNIT PREMIUM
Similar to the standard wall unit, the premium wall unit combines the characteristics of the freestanding workbench with the standard wall unit. In essence, the work surface becomes a stainless steel extension of the cook top itself. Many of the cabinets above and below the work surface integrate with it seamlessly. This piece alone will elevate the design of a high-end kitchen.
Vessel Kitchen WALL UNIT STANDARD
The sleek wall unit with built-in cabinets hanging cantilevered from a robust and sophisticated wall system. The wall unit houses and conceals all electrical and plumbing components, yet makes them easily accessible. All kitchen cabinets highlight the work surface and lean towards or away from it, depending on if they are above or below the countertop.
Vessel Kitchen FREESTANDING ISLAND
The freestanding island unit complements the standard wall unit and allows the flexibility to include a range or secondary sink, in addition to more counter space. It is an ideal space for socializing and entertaining that enhances the feeling of the kitchen being the center of the home. If equipped with an oven and cooktop, the freestanding island kitchen will feature a large hanging venting hood.

An exercise in material reduction of how much to remove but leave the perception and comfort of a chair in place. Exploring the contrast between seat and back support - in a playful way - of what is inside and what is outside. The two part construction leaves options for an array of color combinations. Chair fabricated using 100% recyclable, thermoplastic polymer, this chair comes as 2-seat sofa with side table for outdoor use.

Task Chair with unique active seat back and simplified seat pan based on material properties to achieve its controlled movement and flexibility. This design eliminates complex springs and mechanical features by achieving active ergonomic support where needed.
Meduse means Jellyfish in French.
